Rit Fornleifastofnunar Íslands, Archaeologia islandica kom fyrst út árið 1998 og hefur síðan komið út annað hvert ár að jafnaði. Markmiðið með útgáfu ritsins er að kynna alþjóðlegum lesendahópi fornleifarannsóknir á Íslandi. Ritið birtir nýjar greinar um íslenska fornleifafræði, eða efni tengt henni, allt frá landnámi á 9. öld til síðari tíma. Greinarnar eru á ensku.
